HUNTSVILLE, Texas - The Lady Mavericks remain unscathed in Southland Conference action after posting a 7-0 win at Sam Houston State Saturday afternoon. With the win, Texas-Arlington improves to 10-3 overall and 5-0 in league play while extending its win streak to eight matches.

UTA swept singles play from the Bearkats as each Lady Mav earned a straight set victory. Monika Peciulionyte and Simri van Rooyen tagged Emma McDougall and Erika Rudich with an 8-3 loss at No. 2 doubles while Anete Rozkalne and Jitka Vetrovcova dropped Samantha Edelman and Amanda Jung 8-2 at No. 3 doubles to give UTA the doubles team point.

UTA will return to action Saturday as it plays host to Lamar for a 10 a.m. match at the UTA Tennis Center.
