NORMAN, Oklahoma - Ryan Rohlinger's home run to lead off the bottom of the sixth inning gave the Sooners their first lead of the game as Oklahoma scored nine unanswered runs to defeat Texas-Arlington 11-6 Tuesday evening at L. Cary Nelson made the Sooners pay with a two-run single through the left side.
The lead was short lived as the Sooners tied the game up with a four-spot of their own in the home half of the inning. Thornton started the scoring with an RBI single to right field and Russell Raley had a sacrifice fly to right field. Jackson Williams delivered the big blow with a two-run shot to left center field.
Kaiser followed up Rohlinger's home run with a solo shot of his own before Freddy Rodriguez delivered an RBI single later in the inning.
OU reached double figures in the seventh inning as Kaiser hit an RBI triple to right center after Rohlinger reached on catcher's interference.
