LAS CRUCES, N.M. - UT Arlington softball fell 7-0 at the Troy Cox Classic to host New Mexico State in non-conference action Saturday. The Mavs move to 5-4 while the Aggies improved to 6-2 on the season.

New Mexico State got on the board in the second frame to lead 1-0. Then in the fifth with two outs the Aggies scored four runs on two hits for the 5-0 advantage. NMSU's Ashley Roszkos scored her second run of the night to put the Aggies ahead 6-0. Kayla Luttmers followed with the final run of the game.

UTA will close out the Troy Cox Classic at 10 a.m. when it takes on Loyola Marymount.
