Lubbock, Texas - UT Arlington fell to Texas Tech for the third time in three days. The team finished the Jeannine McHaney Memorial Classic with a 1-4 record, bringing their overall season record to 9-8.

Sophomore Callie Collins faced 28 batters in six innings giving up 12 hits and seven runs to the Red Raiders.

The Mavericks only run of the game came in the top of the seventh when Teri Lyles grounded out to short stop driving in Courtney Enocksen. UTA finished the game with only three hits and one walk.

UTA is back home at Allan Saxe Field Friday and Saturday to start conference play as they take on Nicholls State at 6 p.m. on Friday.
