The Mavericks are 20-31 and 4-15 in Sun Belt action. The Mavericks and the Bobcats face off Sunday at noon in the final game of the three-game series.

"I thought our energy was good and especially throughout the games, which is hard to do when you're down," UT Arlington coach Kristie Fox said. "For the most part I love the way we're battling. We need to keep fighting and we're on a learning curve and we need to get better every day."
