Opening statement...
"I am really proud of our girls. I loved the intensity that we played with. We came out from the tip and really got after it. We had a lot of different players contribute. Our defense was really good in the first half and I liked our tenacity."

On VanDijk achieving her 1,000th point...
"That is awesome and I am so proud of her. She will just be like "oh really?". For what she has done her and the two and a half years have just been incredible. She will go down in the record books and luckily for us she is not done and will continue to lead us. The adversity she is going through. It is her dad's birthday today, and that is pretty tough for her to do that."

On Cierra Johnson getting her 200th steal...
"Cierra was phenominal tonight. That was one of her best performances that she has had in awhile. She really got going in the second half. She is just such an all-around player and I love how she has developed. She is that leader and the glue that holds us together out there."

Junior center Rebekah VanDijk
On how the team clicked against the Jaguars ...
"It was great for the team and Crystal Allen, she has been trying to get into a rhythm of her game and she really found it today. She was hitting shots and was confident and that was really good to see. I think as a whole as an offense we really executed it."

How the team has performed in the last two games...
"It shows what we are made of. We are finally starting to play like we can. It is good for us, we are clicking in all of the right spots. We talk a lot about shutting people down and having a good half-court defense, and I think we did that the last two games and that is what sets the tone."

On reaching the 1,000-point club on her late father's birthday...
"I didn't even think about it until later, but it is my dad's birthday, it's our first one without him, so I think it is big because he was one of my biggest fans to cheer us on. He just gets to celebrate it in Heaven so I think it is really awesome. He would tell me he is proud of me. I miss him a ton and it is nice to get it on his birthday."
