Postgame Notes
- UTA pushed its record to 14-4 and 7-1 in the conference, while Coastal Caroline fell to 8-10 and 3-5 in league play. The Lady Mavs have a three-game winning streak.
- At the 7:19 mark of the first quarter, the contest had a 16-minute delay due to scoreboards not working. UTA came out of the delay by scoring the next four points, including Rebekah VanDijk's 1,050th point to move into 15th in program history for scoring. Next up is Jeannie Curry (1982-85) with 1,069.
- UTA forced 20+ turnovers for the 13th time in the last 14 games. The 28 turnovers were the second most for an opponent this year for UTA. The Lady Mavs entered eighth in the nation with more than 22 turnovers forced a game.
- For the second consecutive game, UTA outscored its opponent in the first quarter to reverse a season trend. UTA outscored CCU in all four quarters.
- With the 28-22 advantage in turnovers, UTA turned it into a 21-10 advantage in points off turnovers.
