LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – In its penultimate tournament of the fall season, the UT Arlington men's golf team heads to a fellow Sun Belt Conference member for the Little Rock Invitational at Chenal Country Club this Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 22-23.
Â
The 54-hole tournament will commence with 36 continuous holes on Monday before action concludes with the final round on Tuesday. Pairings and live scoring will be available all tournament via Golfstat by clicking here or by visiting the link accompanying this release. Additionally, updates will be posted on the official Twitter account of the program @UTAMavsGolf.
Â
The Mavs' five-man lineup will feature the following quintet at the par-72, 7,326-yard layout at the Bear Den Course, designed by famed architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr.:
Â
1) Paul Gonzalez
2) Kyle Cox
3) Caleb Hicks
4) Tanner Gore
5) Zakary Jones
Â
That is the same lineup – with the exception of some shifts in placements – the Mavericks' trotted out in their most recent tournament two weeks ago at the Maridoe Intercollegiate. Last year at this same event, UTA finished in 5th place, with Gore being the low man at +6 (75-73-74: 222) to tie for 14th overall.
Â
This year's field features some of the nation's top teams based off the first Golfstat rankings of the year released earlier this month, led by No. 23 UNLV.
