Softball Set to Face UNT for Second Time This Season

DENTON, Texas – Coming off an 0-3 weekend in the first conference series against Troy, the UT Arlington softball team (3-14) will face North Texas (12-6) for the second time this season Wednesday in Denton for a midweek matchup.

The last contest between the Mavericks and the Mean Green was this season in the 2nd Boerner Invitational where UTA topped North Texas 2-0 courtesy of senior Aileen Garcia who executed a squeeze play to plate the two runs of the game.
