- The Mavericks fell to North Texas 1-0 Wednesday in their midweek matchup after a close 7-inning fight.
- UTA picked up its second Sun Belt series win last weekend at Allan Saxe Field against Georgia State.
- Senior KJ Murphy notched one of UTA's two hits in the contest against the Mean Green Wednesday as she continues to pace the Mavs' offense with a .396 batting average.
- The third baseman has tallied 42 hits, 9 doubles, 22 RBI, a .594 slugging percentage, .476 on-base percentage and 17 walks with an OPS of 1.070 this season.

- Coming off the North Texas midweek clash, Laura Henriksen and Kenedy Hines limited the Mean Green's lineup to just two hits.

- Junior Meredith Keel leads South Alabama with a .365 average at the plate with 35 hits where fellow junior Kennedy Cronan has a team-high of 11 doubles on the season with 22 RBI.
- Senior utility player Kamdyn Kvistad has knocked 7 home runs and follows closely behind Cronan with 21 RBI.
- Kvistad also leads the Jaguars with a .628 slugging percentage.
- Freshman ace pitcher Olivia Lackie (12-6) paces South Alabama's pitching rotation with 117 innings pitched with a low ERA of 1.85 while recording 156 strike outs this year.
