Softball Set For No. 9 Oklahoma State

STILLWATER, Oklahoma – The UT Arlington softball team prepares for a midweek clash as the Mavericks hit the road Wednesday to Stillwater, Oklahoma to face off with No. 9 Oklahoma State at 6:00 p.m.

UTA NOTES
  • The Mavericks topped the Cowgirls 9-2 in 2018 at Cowgirl Stadium and 2-1 in 2019 at Allan Saxe Field.
  • Coming off the weekend, UTA split its doubleheader at South Alabama Sunday ending the day with a 7-4 victory.
  • Sophomore Kenedy Hines paced the Mavericks' offense over the week with a .429 average (3-7) with a .500 on-base percentage and a .429 slugging percentage.
  • While the Spring, Texas native helped herself at the plate, the right hander threw 9 innings tabbing a low 0.78 ERA and allowed just one earned run.
  • Third baseman KJ Murphy continues to lead UTA with a .389 average at the plate with an OPS of 1.077, 10 doubles, 17 walks with 6 stolen bases.
  • The senior mains with 44 hits on the season, 24 RBI and is currently tied with sophomore Reagan Hukill with 5 home runs.
