DENTON, Texas - Following back-to-back Sun Belt victories over the weekend, the UT Arlington women's tennis team (14-3, 7-3 SBC) will stay on the road to travel to Denton to take on the North Texas Mean Green (6-10) on Wednesday.
Already over 10 wins, the Mavericks have complete seven straight full seasons with double-digit wins under Head Coach
Diego Benitez. The Mavs have on 80 percent of their singles dual matches, sitting at 60-15 on the year and are 20-2 in conference play.
Lucia Natal is still undefeated on the season with a 9-0 record.Â
Carla Pons is one win away from tying her career-high in wins. She currently has an 18-3 record and is 13-1 in dual play.Â
Polina Akimova also has double-digit wins on the year, with an 11-3 record on the season.
In doubles play, the Mavericks are winning two-thirds of their matches. The tandem of
Carla Pons and
Almudena Boza has been nearly unstoppable with a 10-2 record.Â
Momoka Horiguchi and
Bruna Casasampere are 7-2 on court two in dual play.
