SERIES HISTORY
Heading into Wednesday, the Longhorns lead the overall record with the Mavericks 26-2 as the most recent matchup was back in April of 2021 where Texas defeated UTA 12-0. However, out of the three instances where the Mavs faced the Longhorns last year, UTA battled with Texas in a 2-1 ball game that came from the Bevo Classic (3/26/21-3/28/21).

- Freshman Aaliyah White and catcher Morgan Rios share a team-high batting average of .333.
- Rios hit .417 over the week with 2 HR, 2 RBI and a .917 slugging percentage. Rios and the Mavericks are coming off a series sweep over ULM as she was responsible for the walk-off home run that led UTA to a 3-2 win in 10 innings in the series opener Friday, Apr. 1.
- With several impressive numbers, Jessica Adams posted a low 0.41 ERA over the course of the week as the freshman went 2-0 in the circle. She recorded 2 complete games - now 10 on the season so far - over 17.0 innings pitched. Adams had a stellar performance Friday, Apr. 1 as she threw the entire game against ULM while the contest went into extra innings (10) leading UTA to a 3-2 win.
- She walked just 1 batter across 41 total faced. The Mavericks relied on the righty once again Sunday, Apr. 3 in the final game of the series against the Warhawks as the Mavs completed their second conference series sweep of the season with a final score of 2-1. Across 17 innings pitched, Adams came away with 8 strike outs and just 1 earned run.
- Meagan Smith leads the Mavs with 6 home runs on the season and 19 RBI. The senior was responsible for putting UTA on top in a 5-4 victory over ULM last weekend.

- The Longhorns are coming off a weekend series sweep over Iowa State as the squad moved on to 6-0 in Big 12 play.
