WACO, Texas – The UT Arlington Track and Field teams ended another two-meet weekend with multiple new school records and plenty of personal records.
Tatyana Terrell was the star of the day with an amazing performance in every event she competed in. She started off with a fast third leg in the women's 4x100 meter relay.
Adeyemi Talabi,
Madison Pippins, and
Mikeya Washington joined her, earning a 3rd place finish with a season-best time of 44.32, breaking the program record. Terrell later went on to break her own 400-meter school record that she set just the week before with a time of 53.34. She ended the day with a stellar fourth leg in the 4x400 meter relay. She closed a 20-meter gap to win their heat with a season's best time of 3:41.75 along with
Shelby West,
Glodis Thuridardottir and
Zaire Moore.
In the women's 100-meter dash,
Madison Pippins finished in the top ten in a field with multiple Olympic athletes with a collegiate PR of 11.53.
Mikeya Washington also set a PR of 11.60.
Lauren Walls-Portillo had a strong second-place finish in her first 3000-meter steeplechase of the season with a time of 11:20.62.
Jackson Cichon placed 5th in the men's 800-meter with a collegiate PR of 1:50.00. Alfredo Corona had a strong finish in his heat earning himself a collegiate PR of 1:54.90.
Joel Bengtsson qualified for the men's 110-meter hurdles final with a time of 14.02. In the final, he placed 6th with a time of 13.90.
At the John Jacobs Invite in Oklahoma,
Ethan Tennison placed 3rd in the men's pole vault with a final clearance of 4.45m.

- On Friday, Krianne McBride set a PR in the women's 1500-meter run with a time of 4:44.57.
- On Friday, Scarlett Johnson set a PR in the women's 1500-meter run with a time of 4:48.07.
- On Friday, Racheal Hartley set a PR in the women's 1500-meter run with a time of 4:58.55.
- On Friday, Alfredo Corona set a PR in the men's 1500-meter run with a time of 3:48.33.
- On Friday, Jackson Cichon set a PR in the men's 1500-meter run with a time of 3:50.76.
- At the John Jacobs Invite in Oklahoma, Tenton Whitworth finished 5th in the men's pole vault with a mark of 4.45-meters, just shy of his PR of 4.46-meters.
- At the John Jacobs Invite in Oklahoma, Scott Frazier finished 1st in the men's pole vault with a mark of 4.60-meters.
- Calen Jones set an outdoor PR in the men's high jump with a mark of 2.07-meters.
- Erlend Raa set an outdoor PR in the men's high jump with a mark of 2.02-meters.
- In the men's javelin throw, Luke Bontke set a PR with a mark of 42.30-meters. Also set a collegiate PRin the men's 400-meter hurdles with a time of 56.73.
- In the men's 400-meter dash, Jayden Blakey set a collegiate outdoor PR with a time of 49.20.
- In the women's 100-meter dash, Faith Shaw set a collegiate PR with a time of 12.16.
- In the men's 400-meter hurdles, Levi Bontke set a collegiate PR with a time of 55.99.
- In the women's 200-meter dash, Mikeya Washington set a collegiate outdoor PR with a time of 24.53.
- In the men's 200-meter dash, Khlaid Mendez set a collegiate outdoor PR with a time of 21.16.
- Jarvis Miles ran a season's best time in the men's 200-meter dash with a time of 21.60.
- Adam Herrera set a collegiate outdoor PR in the men's 200-meter dash with a time of 21.68.
