The UT Arlington volleyball team was named a recipient of the AVCA Team Academic Award for 2024, as announced by the American Volleyball Coaches Association yesterday.
The Mavericks earned the award after finishing this academic year with over a 3.3 combined average GPA. The award began in 1993 and honors academically high performing schools at each level of college volleyball.
The Mavericks have now been a recipient of the AVCA Team Academic Award on three separate occasions, 2024, 2021 and 2010.
