CEDAR CITY, Utah - The UT Arlington softball team gears up for its final away conference series at Southern Utah which is scheduled to begin on Saturday, Apr. 26 at 2 p.m. CT.
The Mavericks are coming off a tough midweek road test against #12 Texas Tech as UTA heads into this weekend looking to get back in the win column.

UTA NOTES
- UTA is looking to snap its six-game losing streak with its series against the Thunderbirds.
- The Mavs lead the overall series record 10-2 with Southern Utah as UTA has picked up the series win the last two seasons since the Mavericks joined the WAC.
- With an 8-10 record in conference action, UTA is currently tied for 6th place alongside SUU.
- Leading the pack with 38 hits on the season is junior Kailee Bautista who continues to rank at the top in batting average (.314), doubles (12), total bases (62), walks (25) and slugging percentage (.512).
- Bautista has held the longest reached-base streak on the UTA roster with 25 games and 10 multi-hit efforts so far this season.
- In conference play alone, sophomore Kaitlyn Sailor holds a .378 batting average across 11 starts. Sailor is one of four Mavericks who currently sit on a .300 average or higher.
- Junior transfer Dee McClarity leads the squad with 29 total bases and 12 walks while Bautista leads in hits (17).
