FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — UT Arlington (2-1, 0-0 UAC) fell to Arkansas (2-0, 0-0 SEC) in straight sets, 25-20, 25-22, 25-17, on Saturday night at Barnhill Arena. The Mavericks recorded 37 kills and 35 assists in the match.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The opening set saw a closely contested match between UTA and Arkansas. Sophia Krichev initiated the scoring with a kill, setting an early tone. Camryn McMinn was a key player for the Mavericks, contributing multiple kills, including one that tied the score at 4-4. However, Arkansas responded with strategic plays and took advantage of several attack errors by the Mavericks. Laci Bohannan's consistent performance, including a decisive kill, played a significant role in the Razorbacks maintaining their lead. Despite a late service ace from UTA, Arkansas closed the set 25-20, with Bohannan securing the final point.
