A member of the cross country and track and field team... named the Houston Memorial HS MVP in her final three seasons... an individual regional qualifier in cross country in 2009 and 2010... helped her cross country team to regionals in her final three seasons... track and field district champion in the 800m and 1600m in 2010... clocked a high school best of 60.3 in the 400m, 2:17.40 in the 800m, 5:10 in the 1600m and 11:52 in the 2-mile run... member of the National Honor Society, Distinguished Honor Roll.

Hampton is the daughter of Steve Hampton and Sharon Jones... born November 17, 1992... has four sisters and three brothers... majoring in nursing.
