The `quarterback[quote] of the Mavericks on the floor the past four years will now move to the bench as an assistant coach.
Heather Dunn ranks third on the career assists mark at UTA with 5,483. She was named second team All-Southland Conference three consecutive seasons - 2002, 2003 and 2004. Dunn was named to the SLC All-Academic second team in 2003.
A native of Arlington, Dunn is single. She graduated from Arlington Hgh in 2001. Dunn was named to the all-area volleyball team by both the Star-Telegram and the Dallas Morning News as a senior. She graduated with a bachelor[apos]s degree in kinesiology from UTA this summer.
