Taylor Szypulski joined the UT Arlington volleyball coaching staff in June, 2014 as an assistant coach.

Szypulski played for Sun Belt Conference member Arkansas State from 2010-2013. Her senior season ended early after suffering an injury. Despite the setback, Szypulski made the most of her final year at A-State by moving into a student-coach role.
In her senior season, she recorded a season-high five kills against Georgia Southern before the injury. As a redshirt sophomore, Szypulski appeared in 19 matches and registered 12 starts. She was sixth on the team with 138 kills and had season-high in kills with 16 against UALR at home. She recorded 76 digs, 18 blocks, 10 assists and five service aces.
As a redshirt freshman, Szypulski set a career-highs in kills, attacks, attacking percentage, assists, aces and blocks in 2011. She ranked third on the team with 284 kills and set a career-high with 18 kills against North Texas in November. Szypulski was named to Athletic Director[apos]s Honor Roll. Szypulski played in six matches as a true freshman before receiving a medical redshirt. In those six matches she raked up 34 digs, including a season-high 11 vs. Lamar, 25 kills with a season-high 10 also coming against Lamar.
