Box Score

ARLINGTON, Texas - Second baseman Aaron Batlle ended the first game in walk-off fashion as he deposited a Texas-Pan American pitch over the right center field wall to complete the Texas-Arlington comeback in the Mavs 5-4 victory Sunday afternoon.

Scott Williams started the inning with a double off the wall in right field before Batlle ended the game.

UTPA added an unearned run in the top of the seventh inning as Zach Smith drew a leadoff walk and came around to score on Daniel Macha couldn't handle the ball off the bat of Flowers.

The Mavs (6-7) tied the game up in the bottom of the eighth inning as Ryan Nelson doubled and Brett Lewis walked. Justin Stevens drove in both runners with a double down the right field line. David McLeod pinch ran for Stevens and scored on Macha's single through the left side.

The Broncs answered right back with a run in the top of the ninth as Smith started things with a double to right-center field. After a sac bunt moved him to third, he came in to score on a Joe Gutierrez sacrifice fly to left center field.
