THIBODAUX, La. - The Texas-Arlington tennis team rebounded from their first SLC loss a day earlier to defeat Nicholls State, 7-0, Sunday afternoon.

The Mavericks (2-7, 2-1 SLC) won two doubles matches and five singles matches on the day. The Lady Colonels were without a six th player so they had to default at number three doubles and number six singles.

Freshman Klara Jagosova improved her record to 6-3, as she defeated Veronika Ramirez, 6-0, 6-0, at number one singles.

Texas-Arlington will be back in action Friday when they host Columbia. First-serve is set for 11 a.m. at the UTA Tennis Center.
