ARLINGTON, TX – The UT Arlington volleyball team opens its 2026 home campaign this weekend, hosting the UTA Tournament Friday, Sept. 4 through Saturday, Sept. 5 at College Park Center.
UTA opens the tournament against Kent State on Friday at 6 p.m., followed by a Saturday doubleheader against Army at 11 a.m. and Sam Houston at 6 p.m.
All UTA matches will be streamed on ESPN+.

GAME NOTES
UT Arlington opened the 2026 season to a steady start, going 2-1 at the Razorback Invitational. The Mavericks picked up wins over UTSA and SIUE before closing the weekend with a lost to host Arkansas.
UTA 3, UTSA 1
UTA opened the Razorback Invitational with a 3-1 victory over UTSA, using strong offensive performance to secure the win.
Sophia Krichev led the Mavs with 13 kills, while
Lucy Tricco recorded 25 assists and
Samantha Glenn added 19 digs.
UTA 3, SIUE 2
The Mavericks battled past SIUE in a five-set thriller, rallying to win the decisive fifth set, 15-12.
Camryn McMinn led UTA with 16 kills, while
Evyn Snook added 14 kills and Krichev finished with nine kills and five blocks.
UARK 3, UTA 0
UTA closed the tournament with a straight-set loss to host Arkansas. The Mavericks competed
closely in the opening two sets before Arkansas pulled away, with Snook and McMinn leading UTA with 11 and 12 kills, respectively.
