Indoor Highlights:
2013
• Had a season-best 800m time of 2:18.95 in the prelims of the WAC Championships to place 13th.
• Took third in the 800m at the J.D. Martin Invitational (2:22.80).
• Placed ninth (2:19.14) in the 800 meters at the Varsity Apartments Invitational.
2012
• Ran just one event on the year, competing on the 4x400 relay squad at the Texas 10-Team Invitational.
Outdoor Highlights:
2013
• Scored for the Mavs at the Western Athletic Conference Championships by virtue of a seventh-place showing in the 400m hurdles.
• Posted a season-best time of 1:03.07 in the finals after a 1:03.12 in the prelims.
• Ran a 1:03.46 at the prestigious Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays.
2012
• Ran a season-best time of 1:06.20 in the 400m at the Southland Conference Championships.
• Competed in six meets on the year.
HIGH SCHOOL
• Was a member of British Columbia[apos]s 4 x 400m relay team that won a gold medal and set a national youth record (3:54.25) at the 2010 Royal Canadian Legion Youth Track & Field Championships.
• Also helped B.C. win bronze in the 2010 4x100m relay.
• Named 2011 athlete of the year at Walnut Grove Secondary.
• Set a personal best of 1:00.82 in the 400m hurdles at the Victoria International Track Classic.
• Ranked second in Canada in the 400m hurdles and qualified for the Pan Am Games.
• Won the 400m hurdles at the 45th annual Subway B.C. Track and Field Championships.
• Also helped her school[apos]s 4x400m relay team capture silver.
• Won a bronze medal in the 400m hurdles at the Western Canada Summer Games.
PERSONAL
• Is the daughter of Debbie and Bernie Vaughan.
• Brother, Jarid, was a standout for UTA[apos]s track program who won the 200m at the 2009 Southland Conference Championships.
