Indoor Highlights:
2013
Earned All-America honors for a fifth-place finish in the shot put at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a throw of 63-05.
Became the first UTA male ever to be honored as an All-American in a throwing event.
Placed second in the Western Athletic Conference with a school-record heave of 65-08.25.
Previously established a school record in his first-ever competition for the Mavericks, with a first-place throw of 64-04.50 at the Texas A&M Invitational.
Named WAC Field Athlete of the Week on Jan. 16.
PRIOR TO UT ARLINGTON
Was a two-time first-team All-American (2011, 2012) in the shot put as a member of the Arizona Wildcats.
Had a toss of 64-0.25 (19.51m), the second-best mark of his career, to place fourth at the 2012 NCAA Outdoor Championships.
Also placed fourth at the 2011 NCAA Outdoor Championships with a mark of 61-10.5.
Was the runner-up at the 2012 Pac-12 Championships in the shot put and also earned all-conference honors in the discus.
Had a personal-best discus throw of 175-09 at the 2011 NCAA West Preliminaries.
HIGH SCHOOL
Was the runner-up at the 2010 IAAF World Junior Championships, in Moncton, Canada, in the shot put with a throw of 66-3.25 with the 6kg implement.
Finished 11th at the 2007 IAAF World Youth Championships in Ostrava.
Was the Serbian Junior National Champion in 2009 and national youth champion in 2008.
