CAREER OVERVIEW
Played at Sam Houston from 2020-2022 before transferring to Tyler JC, and then Midland College.
2023-24
At Midland, Cook appeared in 29 games while averaging 14.1 points per game while shooting 45 percent from the floor, 40 percent from beyond the arc, and 76 percent at the free throw line.
2022-23
Did not play during his lone season at Tyler Junior College due to injury
2021-22
Made 32 appearances for the Bearkats during his second season...Averaged 4.9 points and 1.1 rebounds per game...Shot 39.3% from the floor, 38.1 from 3-point range and 66.7 percent from the free throw line...Scored a season-high 15 points against UTRGV on (1/3/22).
2020-21
Appeared in 26 games as a true freshman at Sam Houston … Averaged 6.5 points and 1.4 rebounds per game … Shot 40 percent from the floor, 36.8 from 3-point range and 72.2 percent from the free throw line … Scored a career-high 18 points against Central Arkansas (2/13) … Made a career-high five 3-pointers against Howard Payne (12/6) … Scored in double-figures eight times.
HIGH SCHOOL
At Newman Smith, Cook was the District 11-5A Most Valuable Player as a junior after averaging 24 points a game and was selected to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches All-Region 5 Team, and also was the District 14-5A Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore.
