HIGH SCHOOL
• Claimed bronze medals in the decathlon and in the 110m hurdles at the National U-18 Championships.
• Provisionally qualified for the U-18 World Championships in the pole vault.
• Club team won National Team Championships three times in a row and four times in five years.
• Attended Landrat-Lucas Gymnasium in Germany.
• Scored personal-best 7,165 points in the decathlon, cleared 4.85m in the pole vault and ran the 110m hurdles in 14.55 seconds.
• Also competed in Judo and wrestling.
PRIOR TO UT ARLINGTON
• Attended Florida Tech for one season and was named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
• Placed 11th at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the decathlon with a school-record 6,856 points.
• Named USTFCCCA All-Region in the pole vault, javelin throw, and decathlon.
• Set school records in the pole vault (4.90m), javelin (58.69m).

• Is the son of Birgith and Uwe Schiemann.
• Is a civil engineering major.
