Prior to UTA
A four-year starter and letterwinner at Plano East High School... two-time All-District selection (8-5A, 9-5A)... led her high school in kills, digs, aces and hitting percentage during her senior season... team captain as a senior... graduated 14th out of 1,300 students in graduating class... a National Merit semifinalist candidate... qualified for the USA Volleyball Junior Olympic National Championships (2005-2008)... led club team to two USA Volleyball North Texas regional championships... also a member of the National Honor Society and President of the National Junior Honor Society.

Daughter of Michael and Carol Carpenter... born May 14, 1990...a biochemistry major at UTA.
