2003: .344-3-33...Second team all-SLC at designated hitter...hit .386 as a leadoff hitter...spent the majority of the season as the team[apos]s designated hitter...also saw time at shortstop ...established a new school record by collecting 22 doubles on the season...second on the team with 54 runs scored...third on the team with 12 stolen bases . . . put together a 20-game hit streak during the season that saw his average raise 219 points...fourth on the team with 26 multi-hit games and 11 multi-RBI games...put his name in the record books by collecting five hits in a 5-for-5 performance against Lamar...knocked in a career best four runs in a victory over Baylor...scored a season best four runs in a victory over McNeese State...hit a home run in each game against New Mexico.

SLC Tournament: Named to the all-tournament team as a designated hitter...hit .250 (6-24) with one run batted in...went 3-for-4 with an RBI in a loss to McNeese State...collected a pair of hits, and scored two runs, in helping to force the if necessary championship game.

Prior to UTA: Transferred to UTA in 2003 after playing one year at San Jacinto Junior College in 2002...helped lead his team to the Junior College World Series where they finished third...earned All-Region and All-Conference honors for SJJC...hit .394-14-65 with 17 stolen bases and 15 doubles in 2002... member of the University of Texas baseball team in 2001 ...named to Athletic Directors Honor Roll as a freshman at UT ...Houston native attended Langham Creek High School...earned All-District honors as a sophomore, junior and senior...was named to the All-Greater Houston Preseason Team in 2000...during summer following junior season, participated in the Area Code Games and the Texas Scouts Association Game...earned Outstanding Physics Award as a junior...named to the Honor Roll both as a junior and senior.
