ARLINGTON, Texas – UT Arlington men's basketball announced Tuesday that head coach
KT Turner has signed Penn State transfer F/C
Miles Goodman and added him to the team's roster.
Goodman, a Seattle native, joins the Mavericks following his freshman season at Penn State. He saw action in 13 games after missing first half of season with an injury and played an average of 6.1 minutes per game. In that playing time, Goodman averaged 1.2 points and 1.4 rebounds per game, while shooting 58.3 percent from the field.
Goodman was a four-star forward that was a top-100 recruit nationally and was Penn State's second-highest ranked recruit in program history, per
247 Sports. He was ranked as the No. 76 recruit nationally per
Rivals and the No. 84 recruit in the country per
247 Sports. He also played for the highly-ranked Southern California Academy and was a 2023 Pangos All-American Camp participant. Goodman averaged 12.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 3.0 blocks and 2.0 steals per game throughout the first three years of his high school and AAU careers.
