Prior to UTA: Transfers to UTA after earning All-Conference honorable mention honors at Tyler Junior College in 2002...graduated from Kennedale High School in Kennedale, Texas in 1999...a three-time All-District selection in both baseball and football at Kennedale ...also a two-time All-State performer in baseball...Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association MVP as a senior.

Personal: Son of Kathy and Roger Duncan...born February 15, 1981...father played baseball at Baylor University...cousin played in the Astros organization and at Texas Tech Univerity...a physical therapy major at UTA.
