Prior to UTA: A local standout, Wimpy joins the Mavericks after a earning 8-5A All-District honors as an outfielder at Arlington High School, where he graduated in 2002...also a superstar on the gridiron, earning 8-5A All-District honors for the Colts as a senior.

Personal: Son of Cristy and Don Wimpy...born June 22, 1984...an architecture major at UTA.
